Visitor berths
Sailing into Wellington? Tie up in the middle of the city; restaurants, Te Papa and the CBD are a short stroll from your bow.
Booking your stay
Phone the office on 04 382 9300 or email office@chaffersmarina.co.nz at least 24 hours before arrival and we’ll allocate an available berth to suit your vessel. The earlier you let us know, the better we can plan your allocation.
Your berth rate includes fresh water, showers and rubbish, and there’s a coin-operated laundry on site. There’s no minimum stay: one night, one week or a month, entirely up to you.
Planning your visit? Life at Chaffers has what’s nearby, from cafés and restaurants to Te Papa, the waterfront and the CBD, plus what’s on around the waterfront.
Inc. GST, from 1 July 2026.
Shore power is extra if you are not living aboard: from $19 a day$116 a week$106 a month (16 A).
Thinking of staying longer? Stays of six months or more are on lower long-term rates. See renting a berth or talk to the office.
Day tie-ups (not overnight) are $50.
