Phase 2 of the wavescreen and walkway replacement, between Pier A and the A/B mid-point, reached a key milestone in April when UCL installed the final bay for this phase.
UCL then spent several weeks on another contract. During that time, the transition ramp, railings and gates were fabricated off site. The ramp and railings are ready to install.
Next steps
- Late May: UCL returns to finish the remaining bays, then installs the railings
- Early June: the gates and the transition ramp are installed
Power on Pier A
The distribution board in bays W14 and W15 is being relocated in late May and early June. Vessel owners on Pier A may have short power outages during this work. We will keep disruption to a minimum and give advance notice where we can.
